Is the first game worth playing From what I understand, it almost seems like EarthBound is a better remake of EarthBound Beginnings. Graphics that were altered in localization have also been restored, including: Either its your favorite or least favorite of the 3 games. I say its definitely worth a play, but play a hack that lessens the grind. The characters look pretty similar, but the two games have completely different stories, locations, and events. The main version also makes names of characters, locations, and items more accurate to what they were originally.
